A coalition of South Australian agency and industry peak bodies are committed to leading our transition to more liveable, water sensitive communities.

On 23 March 2016 Water Sensitive SA hosted a workshop with state government agencies and peak industry groups with key responsibilities to deliver more liveable communities through the integration of green infrastructure and water sensitive urban design (WSUD) within the urban landscape.

Urban water leadership specialist Dr Andre Taylor challenged the group to build cross disciplinary approaches to policy and projects across traditional silos.

The energy and genuine commitment to work towards the creation of water sensitive communities was evident amongst all of the participants.  This workshop is just the beginning of what we trust will translate into the greening of our communities, underpinned by best practice WSUD and integrated water management.
