The SA Stormwater 2020 Excellence Awards were celebrated in an online video program this year due to the uncertainty over the ability to host events, post COVID. We would like to shine a light on the amazing work of Water Sensitive SA program and project partners: City of Unley, City of Charles Sturt, City of Port Adelaide Enfield, City of Marion, City of Mitcham and City of West Torrens who have been recognised as industry leaders though the 2020 awards.
Water quality improvement and the ability of wetlands to deliver multiple community benefits continues to feature in these awards, together with the importance of continued investment in research to help us better understand water management in the urban environment, particularly in the context of a denser built form.
