MUSIC Auditor Tool – On demand training

21 February 2022

Are you:

  • a Council stormwater engineer who assesses development applications that include stormwater treatment trains designed using the Model for urban stormwater improvement conceptualisation (MUSIC)?
    OR
  • a designer who want to make sure your MUSIC model is consistent with the latest guidelines for South Australia.

There is now a tool to enable you to assess whether a stormwater treatment train for a project or development has been designed in accordance with the South Australian MUSIC Guidelines. MUSIC Auditor can assist you to undertake an application phase assessment of a MUSIC model or a self-assessment of one of your own designs.

MUSIC Auditor provides a summary report identifying any areas of non-compliance and further commentary to assist both consultants in revising their model or assessing authorities to make a decision whether or not to accept any non-compliance. Variations from the South Australian MUSIC Guidelines may be permitted in some circumstances, however further details may be required by the relevant authority to justify the assumptions in the MUSIC model. You will need to export the .mrt file from your MUSIC model to run the MUSIC Auditor.
