Water Sensitive SA reports

The Water Sensitive SA Business Plan, Investment Prospectus and Stakeholder Engagement Plan set out our strategic direction and priorities to June 2018.

Plans and strategies

The South Australian Government has developed a range of plans that seek water sensitive urban design outcomes to deliver better freshwater and marine water quality, maximise the use of alternative water resources, conservation of potable water resources and climate change adaptation to deliver more liveable communities.

Guidelines

Water Sensitive SA proposes to undertake a review of the South Australian Water Sensitive Urban Design Greater Adelaide technical manual produced in 2010.

In the interim we offer linkages to some of our preferred guidelines from interstate.

Research

Our collaborations with the Goyder Institute for Water Research, University of South Australia, CRC for Water Sensitive Cities and CSIRO seek partnerships for applied research. We offer researchers the opportunity to connect with practitioners through our online forums, blog articles and seminar series.

Acknowledgement of Country

Water Sensitive SA acknowledges Aboriginal people as the First Peoples and Nations of the lands and waters we live and work upon, and we pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge and respect the deep spiritual connection and the relationship that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have to Country.
